Start yourself out by keeping a chart where you can tick off how many glasses of water a day you are consuming. For healthy habit 8-12 glasses of water daily is ideal. Try to intake about two glasses of skim milk daily. As for other drinks, stay completely away from other liquids like pop or juice-they contain more calories and sugar then you might imagine and do not fill you up like water or milk does. Eat a high protein breakfast like eggs, or meat, and a whole grain bread (one serving). This will help you feel a little more energized and not as hungry throughout the day. If you are really hungry for snacks, grab some complex carbs, like fruit, particularily grapefruit and try to stay away from starchy foods for the rest of the day. You don't have to starve yourself! Just eat healthy! Salads with low fat dressing and balsamic vinegar, whole grain pasta with fresh sauce, cabbage rolls, but everything in moderation! If you have to have an evening snack grab something fresh and crunchy like an apple, or a piece of celery. It sounds super boring, but it works and diets like repeatitiveness. Keep to something healthy and moderate you will begin to see the difference. Every metabolism is different so give it anywhere from 2 weeks to 10 weeks to see a major impact on your weight. I still hold strong to walking daily at a nice fast and vigorous pace, and at home videos like pilates (where there is sometimes very mild weight training), and do it for at least 30 min daily or three times a week to start. For something fun that you can do in the privacy of your own home, belly dancing really tones and strengthens the stomach muscles and along with the right diet you should notice a difference in that area. I also starting taking cayenne pepper pills and noticed a metabolism boost when having anything spicey. Good luck!

I have been doing what you are doing for almost 5 years now and It is great your not taking supplement. The best diet is an all protein diet. (chicken,Fish,eggs,peanut butter,) The key to body building is to constantly eat almost every 3-4 hours, but keep it light. Take a peanut butter sandwich with you and cut it in half. that's two meals right there. Also always eat a good breakfast. (eggs,granola,fruit) The most important thing is to always drink water. Carry it around with you at all times. Drink nothing else.
To help you gain muscle, it is all about the reps and weight. try doing reps of (10,8,6,4,4,2) on bench press. Making your first set of 10 about 50% of your bench press max. and your last rep about 120% of your max, with some help of course. to lose the fat in your chest, do butterflies starting with light weight with high reps and finishing with high weight low reps.

Okay the best way to lose weight is to concentrate on 2 main things, this is your diet and your workout.
You need to get both of them right, now your diet should work like this... you should be eating a meal every 2-3 hours but not a junk food snack/meal. When i say meal i mean something which is healthy ie you might have some pasta with tuna, or a quick banana as a snack. The foods you eat should be COMPLEX carbs ie pasta, brown bread etc etc. You also want to try and get as much fruit + ved in a day. Make sure you have a good amount of protein throughout your meals.
Now you also need to work out your Basal Metabolic Rate, this simply tells you how many calories you burn a day, you need to find out how much your actually eating now its most likely to be in excess if it is you want to TRY and cut down 500 calories and stick to your new total amount. This shouldnt be hard because you will be eating Complex carbs which are just as filling but have a lower calorie count but are better for you than empty calories which are found in simple carbs.

Okay now for your workout what you want to be doing is concentrating on many different types of cardio exercises. These are your jogging,swimming basically anything that makes you sweat and makes your heart pound. If you can join a gym as they have a lot of cardio machines there. Now once you get in to the hang of say jogging, what i mean by this is say you jog 20 mins everyday eventually you will come to a point where your not losing anymore weight this is like hitting a brick wall, this means you need to up the game, start jogging that extra five minutes a day, start taking that one less suagr in your cup of tea.
The most important tip to remember is to vary your cardio routines. Your body gets used to the same cardio routines done over and over. By varying your routine, your body will have to adjust, and thus causes a rise in the metabolic rate, thereby burning calories faster. But how many people do you see walking everyday in your neighborhood, or on the same treadmill or elliptical machine at the gym, and their body never seems to be changing. They do all that work and see no visible results. That is because the conventional wisdom is to get some form of cardio 3-5 days a week at 30 - 60 minutes.
A better alternative is high impact interval training. High impact training could include doing a warm-up of 3-4 minutes on a treadmill, followed by 1 minute at 8 mph, then 1 1/2 minutes at 4 mph, then run 10 mph for 1 minute, then walk at 4 mph for 1 1/2 minutes. You can repeat this 3 or 4 times to get a very effective, and not boring cardio workout.
You can also incorporate running or walking stairs, or do short sprints. The sprints need not be long (20,30, 50 yards), and you rest by walking back to the starting point. These are very effective. Have you ever seen a fat person running the 100 yard dash at the Olympics?
And often overlooked is the jump rope. Do short bursts of jump rope at a brisk pace with some faster paced, or double jumps, or criss crosses mixed in.
By applying these cardio tips on how to burn calories fast, you should be able to jump start your metabolism, and make progress towards your fitness goals

I Never Was Good About Taking The Medicine Because I Didn'T See Any Other Symptom Except Irregular Periods. I Wasn'T Worried About That Then But Now I Am Seeing More Of The Symptoms Like Weight Gain/Unability To Lose Weight/Hirutism And Hair Loss On The Scalp. I Am So Scared It I Don'T Take Care Of This Soon I Will Be Totally Bald. Ok, So I Have Begun A Low Carb Diet And I Have The Meds I Never Took. I Have Aldactone And Metformin Both 100 Mg. They Do Not Expire Until Sometime In 2012. I Don'T Have Insurance Now And I Don'T Have Access To Any Endocrinologists Or Physicians So I Was Wondering What Would The Adverse Reactions Be Of Me Taking The Aldactone And Metformin Now. If there not out of date your fine, take the daily recommended dose though and don't over prescribe as a quick fix.

running is a very good start. running is fantastic for burning fat. how long are u running for? doing sit ups wont really make ne effect unless u do them after a long cardio session. the fat needs to disappear for ne abs to become noticable on ur stomach. its rather sh*t i kno! ur abs can form under all the fat from doing sit ups but unless u burn fat from cardio then it will never show! its a real pain. if u cant get motivated doing thatby urself u should join a gym. and dont forget to listen to ur ipod or mp3 player with ur fave get up n moving songs! i used to go to the gym n not listen to nething but u honestly feel so much more motivated when uv got a good beat to work to! :) dont forget to measure urself around ur "love handles" with a measuring tape. sometimes u cant see the physical results but the tape measurer will prove u different! hope this helps and good luck! xx
