Do You Really Need To Take Supplements To Lose Fat?
Everytime You Talk To A Personal Trainer They Try To Get You To Take A Million Pills, Shakes, And Bars. I Just Don'T Believe You Need All That To Lose Fat. I Think You Need To Manage Your Diet And Exercise. Maybe Take A Multivitamin To Balence Everything. What Do You Think?
I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
Do Birth Control Pills Inhibit Weight Loss.?
Basically, I Am Obese And I Have Been Taking Birth Control Pills For Three Years To Regulate My Period. I Know That Birth Control Pills Didnt Make Me Obese, But I Have Been Doing Weight Watchers For Two Months And I Just Want To Know If Birth Control Pills Might Be Keeping Me From Losing The Weight As Quickly? Also, Do Birth Control Pills Make You Retain Water? One Time I Forgot To Order My Pill And Missed A Week Of It And I Lost Like 3 Lbs. Could That Be From Not Taking The Pills That Week?
Here's the short answer that doctors and nurses will tell you: NO.
Here's the truth: Everyone is different. If you ask women who have been or are on birth control, they will each have had a different experience. It also depends on which pill you are on as they all contain different levels of hormones.
I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen lo. I didn't really notice any weight gain, but I did feel bloated the entire time I was on it. Like you said, when I was off it for a week I lost about 5 lbs. I think the weight was mostly water weight, but still! I switched to an IUD because I've never heard of anyone gaining weight from it at all. Mirena, to be specific. (It's plastic, not copper like the old ones!)
If you are concerned about weight gain from your pill, talk to your doctor. Usually he/she can find a different brand that will work better for you. Or you could try the IUD or something different. I would suggest against the depo shot. I've heard some horrible things about it.
And you could always try taking a water pill like Diurex. It helps shed water weight and bloat. Makes you urinate a lot. It does help though. Just make sure you stay hydrated if you do take it - otherwise you could get sick!

Do Diet Supplements Actually Work In Losing Weight?
I'Ve Tried Acaitirm For About A Week. Should I Continue Taking It? Or Am I Wasting Time And Energy On Taking It?
When I hear the word acai, it's a scam for your money. I never tried any, but I learned a lot from reading eating healthy articles. Acai berries are good for your health, but you cannot lose weight without diet and exercise. If you hear like losing 50 pounds a month, it's 100% scam so they can get you to buy their product. The thing that Beau said is a perfect example of a scam to buy their product.
Diet supplements do actually some what work because I eat them too, but you still need to eat proper diet and do exercise for losing weight. It's good because it helps clean inside of you from bad stuff. I would recommend eating a lot of vegetables and fruits. Almonds are good too. I would try to avoid eating meat because is bad for your health and diet.
I Need To Lose Weight?
Ok, Im About 208Lbs, And I Would Like To Be Around 170 By Mid September. What Is The Best Way To Get Me There, Or Close To There?
Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we've known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.
Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.
Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.
Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one.
In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.
Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.
Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.
Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.
Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body.
Vary your routines. Don't eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn't adjust to any one routine.
An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.

What Is A Good Diet Pill That Will Increase Metabolism Bought Over The Counter?
No Shpeel On Nutrition Just Answer The Question If You Have An Adequate Response And You Will Receive Best Answer. Thanks.
Metabolism boosting increase from "fat burners" is a little deceptive. All Thermogenic "fat burners" have in common is stimulants that decrease hunger which cause you to eat less. Weight loss is achieved by calorie restriction with these products.
Stimulant fat burners can be very effective and include Xenadrine, Lipo6, Stacker3, Ripped Fuel, Hydroxycut etc. All of these can be effective, but since stimulants can have different effects on different people, tolerance may very. This means that what works well for one person, may cause side effects in another.
You can start with a mild fat burner like a Green tea Extract.
Some more powerful ones include Lipo6, Xenadrine or Hydroxycut.
Some more powerful ones include Jet Fuel and RoxyLean.
If ones makes you feel ill, try another as you may tolerate other stimulants better. Always start with the lowest dose to test tolerance.
Hey Whats A Good Weight Loss Pill?
For A 14 Year Old I Want To Loose Like 5-8 Pounds
Sorry, this isn't really gonna answer your question, but I've learned this all from experience. It applies to men and women alike. First of all, you should clarify your goal as "I want to lose 5 - 8 pounds of fat." The reason why I say this is because too many people just cut calories and lose weight, but they end up losing muscle with the fat, which actually makes them softer and slows their metabolism. I'm assuming you want to lose 5 - 8 lbs. of fat and firm up.
Here's my advice:
4 or 5 mornings per week, do weight training to develop more muscle mass. Yes, you heard me. Lift weights. And too many women fear getting "bulky" from lifting weights, but you don't need to worry about that. Your body produces far too much estrogen over testosterone, so muscle gains will not pile on like a genetically gifted male. You will "firm up" for the lack of a better term. The more muscle fiber you have, the faster your metabolism will be and the easier it will be to burn body fat afterwards. After firming up for 4-8 weeks, you can burn excess body fat by performing 30-45 minutes of cardio after the weight training.
For proper dieting, focus on getting at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. Don't over-do carbs, but don't avoid them, either. Make healthy carb choices, such as sweet potatoes, oatmeal, oatbran, whole wheat bread, and brown rice. Also make sure you get your omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. A great supplement for this is Flaxseed Oil. On top of all this, have 6 smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3 larger meals (the higher frequency of digestion will speed up your metabolism) and make sure you drink plenty of water.
Pills can help increase your metabolism SLIGHTLY and therefore increase fat loss SLIGHTLY, but the price of any weight loss pill will make it difficult to purchase the essential supplements (protein, flaxseed oil, multivitamin) and all the necessary healthy foods for a good diet. I say you take my advice above before you start wasting your money on weight loss pills.
