#1. YES you are, Scare tissue tends to heal stronger than the tissue around it.
#2. When you start out, concentrate on the movements, not the weight. Add weight slowly and any time you feel that familiar "pulling" in your abdominal region, STOP, figure out what caused it to happen and re-learn a new way to work that area of your body. As a rule, any chest workout you do, you should not have your legs out straight, bring them up and into you before you even start your reps. That will releave the pulling on your abdominal region. BUT!!!! If you are not experienced in the lifting, get a trainer for awhile to get you into the movements that will keep you from injuring yourself again.
3. YES it is. If you eat "Blanched" veggies and a ton of good quality meat, you'll put on muscle. That muscle will add wieght, the good kind. Too much junk will create fat. As you reb-up you program, you'll find yourself eating more, eat 5-6 times a day. Small meals -but good foods. This will keep your motabolism fired up all thru the day and hunger will be only a momentary thing. But alot of folks get going and feed that hunger with junk and get fat-so don't fall into that trap.(I know you don't want suppliments but "Muscle Milk" is a great drink to take in right after a workout-and it is delicious!) And get good sleep-6 to 8 hours a night, that's when your muscle repair!!!!! Good Luck!
What Are The Benefits Of Taking Fish Oil?
I Am Taking Fish Oil, Heard Some Good Things About Taking It, But What Really Are The Benefits Of Taking It? Can Someone Share What They Know? If You Can Give Me Some Practical Examples Too Of The Difference In Someone Who Takes It And Doesn'T If You Know Of Any?
The body needs EFA's (essential fatty acids, OMEGA 3's) for "good fats" in the body. It helps with the proper digestion & distribution of protein/carbs. It also helps the joints move fluidly. There are multiple articles in www.bodybuilding.com to explain the scientific details of the benefits and the physioloy of the body.
Keep in mind: If you eat nuts (cashews, almonds), fish/tuna and use things like virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, flaxseed in your food/cooking (in limited amounts) you often do not need to supplement with the pills. Aim for about 15-20% of your dietary nutrition to come from good fats.
What Was The Name Of The Diet Pills Anna Nicole Smith Took To Loose Weight?
I Used To Know But I Forgot. Was It Metabolife??
Trim Spa baby!
And I've taken them. Make sure you swallow them completely! They swell up so you feel full, if it's caught in your throat and it starts to swell, you'll have to see a doctor.
Multi-Vitamins For Really Inflammed Stomachs?
My Doctor Says I'M Malnourished And Low In Vitamins. I Haven'T Been Taking Any Because They All Seem To Really Inflame My Stomach - Even The Gentle Ones. I Definitely Can'T Do Tablets & Pills. Liquids Don'T Work Because They'Re Always Flavored And I Can'T Tolerate Flavors. So I Ended Up With A Powdered Multi &Quot;Essential Mix Multi-Vitamins Without Sucralose&Quot; It Worked For A While And Then Even That Ended Up Hurting Really Badly - Even When I Only Took 1/4 Of The Recommended Dose, And Even If I Took It On A Full Stomach.
I Have Two Inflammations In My Stomach That The Doctor Thought Were Ulcers, But Since I Tested Negative For H Pylori, She Said They'Re Not Ulcers They'Re Just Inflammations. I Know That Anything With Tannins Really Burns A Lot, As Does Any Acidic Food. (I Also Have Gerd.)
I Wish I Could Get My Vitamins Via My Food In A Natural State, But I Have Gastroparesis, And So I Can Only Have 4-8Oz Servings 6-8 Times A Day Which Makes It Hard Enough For Me To Get My Calories Let Alone My Vitamins & Minerals. I'M Fine When I Eat Yogurt And Rice Milk And Smoothies; It'S Just Most Foods, Supplements And Vitamins Really Irritate It :-(
Do You Have Any Suggestions For Liquid Or Powdered Vitamins That Are Meant For Extremely Sensitive Stomachs - That Don'T Have Any Flavors In Them?
I'Ve Looked Into Sublingual Vitamins, Too, But They Don'T Seem To Make Them In Multi-Vitamins. I Can Only Really Find B Complex And C.
I'Ve Also Looked Into Patches. I'Ve Only Found One For B-12.
Why don't you find a Homeopathic doctor through your local association. It would be better to find out what is causing all of these digestive issues (what is causing the inflammation?) -- please note that the cause and the symptoms are not the same thing -- and eliminate the cause. This is what Homeopathy is all about. It's safe, gentle and effective.
You will probably be surprised to learn that it's not an excess of stomach acid that causes these problems, but too little. But at this stage, you need professional help and support and the usual route isn't helping you.
BTW vitamins will not replace a well balanced diet.
Weight Training Supplements?
I Am Trying To Gain Weight, More Specifically Muscle Mass. I Need Help Deciding Upon Which Supplement To Use To Help Me Achieve This. I Have A Very Fast Metabolism Therefore, It Causes Difficulty With The Whole Gaining Weight Thing. I Was Thinking Of Trying Optimum 100% Whey Protein, Is This A Good Product For My Purpose?
Do You All Have Any Other Products That Really Helped You?
Thanks So Much For Your Help.
Metabolism doesn't effect gaining muscle mass, only body fat. Do NOT take any suppliments. #1 they are really bad for your health, #2 they don't do anything a good diet and protien won't do (and that's healthier, #3 they cost money.
Also they should not be used if you are under 18. If you chose to use them after well then that's your choice, however do NOT use them if you are under 18. It's dangerous and I believe you have to have an I.D. to purchace them.
I gained about 10lbs of muscle mass when I was weight lifting in about a few months. I was on a low fat- high protien diet and to be honest I never did the protien shakes or supplements. I got all my protien from lean foods. The key is to eat 1 gram of protien per every pound of muscle mass. So what you do is you find out what your body fat % is. The internet has many calculators for it. Find like three and take the average of the results. then that that % and subract it out of 100. Then that that % (thats the percent of muscle on your body) then mulitply the decimal of that % by your total body weight and thats the # of grams you should be consiuming a day of LEAN protien. However in your case I say you don't have to worry so much about getting lean protien because you want to add on some body fat too for weight.
I used to work out 4-5 days a week for 30-45 mins. Upper body one day, lower the next and abs everyday.
I also used to do 30 mins of cardio every day after I weight lifted to get rid of some body fat however you don't need to do that unless you would like to add it to your work out.
What Is The Best Working Diet Pill You Can Get With Out A Prescription?
Please do not try diet pills because they are not the long term answer and many can cause negative health effects. Consider a healthy lifestyle change.
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/...
Get an online, desktop, or cell phone diet and fitness calculator. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
Here are two articles on how to break through a weight loss plateau:
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier.

Breastfeeding And Trying To Lose Weight?
Are There Any Supplements Out There That I Can Safely Take While I Am Breastfeeding? I Need To Lose 30 Lbs In 5 Months And Just Working Out Isn'T Doing Much. Please Help!!
I don't know of any supplements you can take while breastfeeding, but I know of some natural remedies you can try. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is completely safe to take. It aids in weight loss. Take a couple tablespoons before each meal. Drink plenty of water. Try switching to an all organic diet the best you can. Red pepper or other hot spices added to your meals also helps speed up your metabolism. And walking or other exercise each day will help speed things along. Dancing with your baby is fun and great exercise. If you have other kids they will want to join in on the dancing too. Good Luck.

Sounds more of an anorexic thing to me. If this is you or a friend, please, get help before it's too late.
If You Are Feeling Good And Up To It Is It Ok To Weight Train Everyday....I Mean I Hear You Should And I Hear It Is Ok But Really If You Dont Feel Soar From The Previous Day Is It Ok To Go Everyday..? Also What Are The Most Effective Supplements You Can Take....? And If You Have Any Good Workout Routines Please Let Me Know....Thank You :)
Working out every day is good. When you do, however, work on upper body one day and lower body the next. It will give your muscles time to recover from a strenuous workout before working them again. Form is important. Just because you can lift heavy weight does not mean you are doing it correctly. Incorrect form can cause a lot of harm and injury and can ruin all the work you accomplished.
A good diet with a daily mulitvitamin should be enough. Drink plenty of water.
It's a good idea to have a few sessions with a personal trainer to evaluate your level of fitness and identify the areas you need to work on. Keep a workout chart and have fun.
Does Anyone Know How Anna Nicole Smith Died?
I Heard She Died Which Is Tragic. But I Want To Know How And What She Died From.
I think it was a mixture of all the drugs she has taken and the TrimSpa. With all the diet pills that have been found to be deadly...why is this not an issue? I'm saying the acute cause is Heart Failure due to TrimSpa and damage from drugs being the contributing factor. RIP Anna
