Dr Oz didn't reccomend any acai berry diet. he said that acai berry is a very healthy food with amazing nutrition (which it is) However, he doesn't recommend any particular product and I believe there was no mention about weight loss anything.
Also, the thing that most people mean when they say "acai berry diet" is that you'll take diet pills, it's not however a diet in the sane that you'll eat this or that.
Anyway, you are going to have to diet and exercise anyway to lose weight. There is no magic pill that makes you lose weight, so diet and exercise are the only way to weight loss (although acai berry can help a bit with those results)
Tonalin uses a "proprietary" blend of oleic, linoleic, conjugated linoleic, stearic and palmitic acids. "Proprietary" is a term that allows a manufacturer to sidestep FDA labeling rules by claiming that their formula is a "trade secret" which is protected by legislation gained from lobbyists for the food industry. So, as you can guess, I'm a little suspect already, since you need to know this info to make an informed decision, but I'm not bagging you for making this purchase: I've bought and used CLA from the GNC store. (And, it helped me maintain weight for a weight-class type sport safely.)
Palmitic and stearic acids are saturated fats that are naturally found, among other sources, in dark chocolate. Palmitic acid is quite good for lowering bad cholesterol, but stearic acid research says it has no appreciable effects.
"Oleic" is omega-9 fatty acid, "linoleic" is omega-3 fatty acid, and conjugated is a mix of linoleic isomers. Omega-3's are found in high amounts in fish, so that's good for you, and CLA can help you lose weight and may protect against free-radicals/cancer risk.
The good news? Starting and finishing this bottle will help you get past the one-month mark that it will take to see noticeable results (in your bloodwork) and get your system used to it (it can bring stomach "issues"). But, I really do hope you buy your future omega-3 (the critical one for health and weight-loss) supplement from a manufacturer that will be more open about potency levels in their product. (Same with your CLA supplement.) And there are open, ethical pharm. companies out there-just read your labels and avoid "proprietary" pills in the future.

You have nothing to worry about because those pills are just junk and don't work anyway. The worst thing that could happen to you would be a reaction to caffeine. Some people who are sensitive to caffeine have cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heat beats).
Don't start taking supplements. The US federal government warns that no one should take supplements without a doctors recommendation because supplements don't have to be tested, are often contaminated, and most of the time are just scams which don't do what they're supposed to do.

Weight loss pills do not work. The most common ingredient in all of these pills is pure caffeine. They raise your heart rate, you'll start to feel flushed and kind of warm, and it is then at that point that these pills instruct you to go work out because you'll work out for a longer time.
There is no magical pill that will just strip fat off of you, only hard work can do that. But 12lbs in 2 months is good progress! Keep it up. I would advise not to eat high amounts of fruit as they contain a hell of a lot of natural sugar which is not what you want, try to consume foods that have complex carbohydrates such as oats, potatoes and pasta which you can mix with chicken, tuna or salmon for flavour and more protein. When it comes to training mix your training sessions up, switch between high intensity interval training and some steady state cardio. This will stop your body from adapting to your training style. Hey not to be very blunt here but theres only two things that will make someone lose weight
Exercise + Diet = Weight loss.
First off, your going to have to switch up your diet. Taking small steps is a great idea instead of shocking your body all at once. Maybe this week, cut out all sodas and fruit juices and only drink water or 1%/skim milk. Then next week incorperate more greens into your diet like if your having dinner, instead of having mashed potatos, you could heat up some frozen veggies and put that on your plate instead. Diet pills dont work at all! your better off just drinking green tea straight up, although there arent any solid facts on green tea, its supposidly good for your diet and boosts your metabolism. How much do you want to weigh? Usually, If your trying to lose 15 lbs, cut out 200-250 calories out of your diet. And yes your going to have to count calories. Heres the calculator - How much do you want to weight? (ex - 150 lbs) times that by 10 = 1500. Thats the amount of calories you must eat to maintain 150 lbs. For exercise - just do something for 30 minutes 4x a week. chose a day in the week where you want to relax. For me - its wendsday cause its hump day and eugh i hate wednsdays. I use exercise DVD disks because gyms arent for me. Gyms are an inconvenience - you have to go out of your way and drive to the gym and use their equipment and drink back. with an exercise on DVD - theres no excuse. Man's body is a living organism, made of living cells, which require living food in order to be properly nourished and function well.
